Dr Feickert MkII Cartridge Alignment Tool The Dr Feickert Protractor is a precision device for vinyl lovers that enables you to adjust cartridges and tonearms with an effective length from 8.6 up to 17.7 inches for correct overhang and offset. The calculation of parameters were carefully carried out according Lofgren's (frontside) and Baerwald's (backside) equations aiming in reduction of the overall RMS distortion level caused by deviations from the perfect linear tracking position of your cartridge. This is an improved version of an already very effective tool. The adjustments now allow for not only Lofgren and Baerwald equations but also Stevenson. This provides even further choices to reduce the distortion that can be caused by a less-than-ideal tangential position of your cartridge.

Good to know!
Having spent circa £2k upgrading my Technics T1200 MK2 it was almost essential to make sure that my new cartridge was properly aligned. So armed with my new alignment gauge just a few minor alignments were needed. I chose the B curve. So I would say now the sound has a more balanced feel. A lot to spend but got it at the best price - so thanks.
