Deter to the max!
Mega deterrence to casual 'tea leaves' if attached to solid objects. eg at Lidl today, they were selling 20v battery angle grinders and wheel kits. Lidl bike (wheel lock!) stations are just 20mm rods and hidden from view!!! Chain a bit short for locking up bike and carrying around shoulder. Very heavy.
I’m sure it is very secure, difficuly to grind if locked above the ground and cut proof. However, at over 2kgs, it is unlikely to be carried unless I plan to leave my bike in a unsecure place.
