It works most of the time but there have been a number of instances where a fly has been zapped but hasn’t died, instead they have just ended up buzzing around on the floor. There has been one instance where a fly landed on one of the electrical wires and got stuck to it, resulting in the fly burning and filling the room with the smell of burning hair.
