Bburago Gold 1/18 Mercedes-Benz 300SLR scale model.
This model is well constructed and presented, and is a realistic representation of the actual car, the original which still exists in preservation in the USA. Actual details of the engine bay are however poorly presented, as are the 'aerodynamic cowls' to the rear of the driver, which should be individually removable, not fixed to the boot lid. On the plus side, the paint finish has much improved over the years, as have certain details like the wire wheels, and if you shop around, this item can be obtained at a reasonable cost. However, the comparable model produced by 'Maisto', although generally more expensive, has, in my opinion, considerably better detailing and finishes overall.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
