Rock 'N' Roll Is here to stay. This group embodied that with their musical offerings.1st class Band.
I read an interview recently in which a former Darts member said Teddy Boys hated them, I was a Teddy Boy throughout the seventies and absolutely loved the Darts, I still do. I have the originals on Vinyl so getting them on CD is a logical step. I can't think why I waited so long! Was saddened to learn their piano player had passed away. Darts were brilliant their vocal harmonies and their sheer sense of fun and enthusiasm resulted in one of the best Rock N Roll LPs ever marketed in the UK. Not so sure about the American CD which seems more like Soul than R&R even so I like it as a different string to their bow. Rita Ray always looked so hot, the guys were pretty slick too but my heart belonged to Rita who I understand as gone on to bigger and better things. The Darts defined a sound that never really disappeared it wasn't a revival you can't revive something thats not dead! Rock N Roll is here to stay.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
