Means Well, Gives Little
Bought this to replace my aged Epson Stylus Photo 1400 which gave good definition and fine printing quality for years. The Eco Tank ET-2750 promised 1440 dpi--but where is it? I got one half-decent print on premium glossy paper at 720 dpi and three others at 360 dpi which were quite horrible. On plain paper letters and invoices without colour quite perfect and at astonishing speed--it's as well that Epson supply TWO bottles of black with the machine. Mechanically the machine is neat and compact, not too heavy and fairly easy to install with or without the "quick-start" guide. There's a disc for set-up and plenty of on-line stuff as well as the resources that Epson download to your computer. BUT the full-length guide itself does not allow for choosing dots per inch on a photo image held as a computer file. If you select "Print Photos" manually on the printer screen you get the message "insert memory card". If anyone out there can tell me how to get the promised 1440 dpi and print high quality from my Leica lenses................Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good quality and eco-friendly
I purchased this product for the ink-refill system which avoids the wasteful use of plastic cartridges. This put it at a price point higher than I initially wanted to spend, but Canon assures me that this expenditure will be made back on ink cost savings. It was fairly simple to set up. The ink refilling system is VERY easy to navigate. I am a bit disappinted that there is not an internal paper tray, only the back loader, and for a moment I thought that there had been a mistake and the printer did not print automatically double-sided, but it needed a tweak in the settings to set this up. Although there is not a document feeder for scanning on this model it is simple enough to scan multiple pages as one scan so all in all it does everything that I need of it. I have had one paper jam (my own fault for trying to remove a sheet as it was printing double sided) and that was simple to fix once I'd checked the user manual (which I now have saved on my desktop)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fab for large scale print projects
Needed a printer that I didn’t need to keep replacing ink cartridges. One cartridge running out half way through a print. Although more expensive on initial layout, very happy with the amount of ink available for large print projects. The product is easy to use, the instructions being very user friendly. The double-sided printing is very useful and the versatility around paper thickness, very useful. I like to e-friendly features - auto shut down and power saving features. Installation of the product was undertaken without problems and the ink reservoirs, very easy to deal with. good print - hard to set up

A good printer for the price.
After reading other reviews we decided to replace our old Epson for this one. Found it easy to set up but took a while but that could be my age I'm 73.The print quality is really good and for the amount we've done the inks should last a long time.
