It isn't often I enjoy a movie so much that I actually take the time to write a review. This is one of those movies that is a must see. Unfortunately, it's very hard to find this movie and very disappointing this movie isn't available in iTunes HD.
There is a sense of realism that brings the hard truth of life while not glorifying this Hollyweird style. Typically, movies such as this has a good guy, and a bad guy. In a sense the concept of a typical hero's journey. I don't want to give away spoilers but it's refreshing to not see something that is so black and white.
This was definitely F. Murray Abraham's best and inspiring performance. He brought real truth to life for someone living with regrets. Eric Roberts, it's always rare to see him perform and when he does, you know he's careful on what he chooses to act. Great performance between their synergy. This movie gets better every time I see it.
All we need now is for this movie to be available on iTunes HD.
