    Cascadia is a great low-intensity game about optimizing patterns

    Cascadia is a great low-intensity game about optimizing patterns. The story is you are building a west-coast ecosystem using hex tiles and populating it with different kinds of animals. The best aspect is the scoring system, which rewards well planned interlocking patterns of land and animals. The worst aspect is there is very little interaction between players, even less than Carcassonne because all players ecosystems are completely seperate from each other.
