ReviewsDaily Mirror - [A] powerful and intriguing film., Empire - Well played across the board, THE RIOT CLUB is an entertaining glimpse into the dark side of privilege., Guardian (UK) - Conflicting our sympathies serves the work well., Independent - The Danish director Lone Scherfig does a fair job of conveying the brutishness of her protagonists, their sense of entitlement and their vicious snobbery. Laura Wade's script (based on her own play 'Posh') is very sharply written.

  • Over-privilileged Rich Kids Rule

Based on a thinly disguised Oxford Bullingdon Club satire the film has some incredible star performers e.g Sam Claflin ( arch-villain) Max Irons ( the misunderstood 'hero') Holiday Grainger( brilliant Northern class bright girlfriend). The premise that rich, well-connected people can get away with anything because money and influence sort out any problem is sickening. At first amusing but gradually utterly depraved as fuelled by wine and cocaine they trash the landlord and his restaurant and then try and pin it on the 'innocent abroad' the gorgeous, charismatic bewildered Max Irons. Worth seeing has some genuinely amusing moments but I would have enjoyed more than a passing glimpse at Oxford's 'gleaming spires' and expensive tutorial system.

  • God help us!

It's a slightly ott picture of the activities of posh university students who have "qualified" to become members of a "Bullingdon"-style elitist, supremacist and exclusive club. Good performances and well directed, it reveals the appalling, self-obsessed, narrow-mindedness of Oxbridge's wealthier students - among which lurk those who will one day become our leaders.

  • A real insight to the snobbery of the establishment and the upper class and how they look at the rest of us who they think are below them...!!

truly a good look in a realistic way and it shows you the type of snobbery in upper class behaviours and thoughts and beliefs that the upper classes and working classes have about the lower classes in this country at Oxford it shows you in a very dramatic way extreme a latest ideologies in the realest way and this film gives you a real look how the upper class do look down upon the rest of society and how they genuinely think about the rest of us I recommend if you want to have a laugh and to grow your hate of the upper classes and the establishment I strongly recommend this film and this film will do it for you absolutely...!!
