Over-privilileged Rich Kids Rule
Based on a thinly disguised Oxford Bullingdon Club satire the film has some incredible star performers e.g Sam Claflin ( arch-villain) Max Irons ( the misunderstood 'hero') Holiday Grainger( brilliant Northern class bright girlfriend). The premise that rich, well-connected people can get away with anything because money and influence sort out any problem is sickening. At first amusing but gradually utterly depraved as fuelled by wine and cocaine they trash the landlord and his restaurant and then try and pin it on the 'innocent abroad' the gorgeous, charismatic bewildered Max Irons. Worth seeing has some genuinely amusing moments but I would have enjoyed more than a passing glimpse at Oxford's 'gleaming spires' and expensive tutorial system.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
