Don’t even try and work on a door with out one of these! Built extremely well, super steady and hold the door firm. If you need to rout in hinges and fit door furniture consider this as important as any other tool required. Well worth considering
With several doors to prepare and no real workbench these have proved a life saver. They hold the doors well and allow me to use router and circular saw to best advantage as I get hinges and locks properly fitted. They may seen a little expensive but given the alternatives I feel they are worth it. Ideal tool for supporting doors
I've just used this to help me prepare 13 oak doors for hanging. Gives solid support when the door is stood on edge for routing/chiselling hinge and latch recesses, and can be used to tilt the door back to an upright position without damaging either the door or the floor beneath.
