A "Must" Investment!
I bought a set of these casters to replace originals on an old office chair; the old casters did not work well anymore and were leaving shards of plastic on the tile floor. These polyurethane replacement casters are absolutely great. The chair sits about an inch higher because these wheels are about 3 inches in diameter, but that's easily fixed with the chair's hydraulics. These glide so very easily, turn easily, and are completely noiseless. Highly recommended, and they do fit 90% of all office chairs. This is actually my second set, getting all the chairs in the house refitted ASAP.

Casters solved our problem
The casters are amazing. They solved a serious problem. The old casters were scratching the hardwood floor and a floor mat could cause a trip hazard and limited travel. Now the chair glides with ease any where on the floor as needed. Also, they they are constructed well. You do have to check the diameter of the part that goes into your chair to assure proper fit, as the chairs vary in size.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great value but consider these issues...
Just installed these wheels on my Herman Miller Aeron and they fit perfectly. It does raise the chair another inch than the stock wheels so keep that in mind. I have to add this though. If you use your chair without shoes, these wheels CAN pinch your feet because the wheels are a stickyish rubber and the clearance between the wheel and the steel fender is just enough to pull your flesh in there. ... so be careful about this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
