Great little printer. Cheap supplies, good quality and fast.
Great little cheap laser printer. Toner cartridges are inexpensive and long lasting (if you get the right ones), unlike some other manufacturers that hook you with a cheap printer then make you pay through the nose for supplies. The double-sided printing option is a bonus. Print quality is good and it's very fast. The lack of wireless support is actually a bonus for me as I prefer to use wired ethernet and don't have wi-fi in my house. I chose this particular model because there is good Linux driver support. I'm not using a debian or red hat based distro and not running my print server on an architecture supported by the official driver, but I've found the third party open source brlaser driver works perfectly. You can get it on github, or check your distro's repository (it's in AUR). All in all I'm very happy with my purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great printer, good value.
An excellent printer and good value. The print quality is superb. It's a tad on the noisy side, but that's not a set back. The printer is energy-saving and turns itself off after a while, which is a welcome advance on the previous model. This was a replacement for a previous Brother printer, an HL-L2310, which lasted a decade, and was in constant use. I'm hoping this one will prove just as robust.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Generally good value printer
Generally good, but more expensive than the previous model (HL-L2300D). Also photographic prints made with the printer seem greyer, and not so well-defined. A much cheaper replacement cartridge that I bought gave better prints than the one that came with the printer (but again not as good as the previous printer).
