Used this to reset EPB when changing pads, works a treat, however if you have not used one of these before check out the correct procedure for operation on the internet and you will have no trouble . IF YOU WANT A SCANNER THAT ACTUALLY RECOGNISES YOUR VEHICLE, SPEND MORE MONEY.
I have two cars, a range rover vogue & a jaguar x type. Both get little faults now and then so I thought I'd get a scanner. Big mistake, it doesn't recognise either car or let me put them in manually. Thinking it might be because of their 'upper' market type vehicles, I tried it on my friends ford focus, a vw golf and a kia. I toyed with the idea of buying a cheap code reader for ages because they normally say they will do things that they don’t leaving you feeling let down. All I can say is don’t worry and buy with confidence, this reader does everything that the VAG computer does at a third of the price and small enough to fit in the glovebox. The menu is also really easy to work around, I would highly recommend this product. Good easy to use scanner
Was slightly sceptical as it was so cheap compared to other obd scanners that can do abs and airbags but it works really well. Quick delivery. Diagnosed an abs sensor fault, cleared the code and it hasn’t come back. Easier to use than Bluetooth readers and phone apps and means you aren’t risking melting your ecu with a dodgy free app. Doesn’t give fancy read outs for engine performance but good for the job if you just want a fault fixed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
