Great drive at a great price.
I bought the WD Elements drive as additional storage for a WD MyCloud network storage drive. My experience over the years working in the IT sector is that WD drives are second to none for reliability, lifespan and speed. The USB 3.1 interface gives it transparency with the gigabit network speed of the MyCloud. Video and audio stream around the house with no buffering. And it is enclosed in the same format cover, so it sits nicely alongside the MyCloud below my TV. At the time, Currys were selling these drives at a really good price. Plus there was a further £10 off as well. And when I went through the checkout process, I found that PayPal had gifted me a further £10. The best hardrive

Backup drive
Excellent well constructed unit and has a WD HDD constructed for the task of backing up your PC system. I chose to use WD Black models for all my other drives, despite the additional cost as my experience has shown them to be fast and reliable. I only know that Western Digital literature states that this drive was constructed for the pupose of back-ups so hopefully as good as the Black series.
