Brilliant but with one drawback
When the Turbo Head failed on my Dyson DC53 I was astounded at the prices that were being asked for a replacement. After much shopping round I made this purchase. It was dispatched very quickly and was a realistic price with free shipping. I was not disappointed with the product original new and well packaged. It is in daily use and the difference in my carpets is noticeable. I will however watch for a failure in a certain component within the head as replacements are impossible to source even from the Dyson home site. This necessitates the replacement of the whole head unit as a consequence.It is brilliant while working but the failure of this one drive pulley within the head turbo is a weakness which parts are not available for.This is my third turbo Head now in 7 years however I just hope this one lasts as long as the others.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It's a Dyson so it will work but it is a shame that the previous one stopped working !! This supplier was the cheapest but it was still expensive for what it is and of course the vacuum cleaner is useless without it. The real thing

Always buy genuine Dyson parts
If you have a Dyson, don't be fooled by cheaper so called compatible parts. We bought a much cheaper version of the turbo head and it was useless. Really noisy, and didn't pick up much dog hair or fluff at all. Persevered for a couple of months, tnen decided to buy the much more expensive dyson product. What a difference!!
