Awesome device!
The G8 is a serious phone. It has amazing cameras, fits easily in the hand, and a beautiful OLED screen. The 8 core Qualcomm CPU with 6 gigs of RAM makes this thing fly. Couple that with 128 gigs of internal storage, plus an add on sdcard slot, and you've got a winner. I have a Note 8, a G8, and a G8X, and I find myself using the G8 the most. Upgraded from the LG G6. Everything about this phone is heads and tails above previous product...speed, memory, camera and battery life. Great replacement
Got this for my kid for a replacement phone. I was going to give my G8 as I was trading up, but suddenly the camera went all wonky. Up until then, mine was great. This phone is a great value. 855 processor, and a phone that isn't just ridiculously large. Large, bright display, and features that can only be found on 2 Android phones that I am aware of that are currently selling new. I know. I researched it. Those 2 things are an expandable SD card and an aux jack. The LG also has a Quad DAC output, so if you like good sound, you really don't have other options near as good as this. It's a steal because most folks just watch the marketing, buy Samsung. They are missing out. I'd not only recommend this as your daily phone if you don't want to drop huge cash, but to have one for when your phone goes out someday and you can't afford to be without for a few days. Slightly different in operation compared to my LG G5, overall I am very happy with this phone. The speaker is partially blocked when using the car cradle, making the sound a little muffled. Fast but slippery
this phone works OK, but the screen is very reflective and has a 19:1 format like most phones these days. I don't need one-handed operation, and would like the wider 16:9 format instead. The sides are rounded and the case is slippery to hold, and shows fingerprints. Good phone, but too fragile
It seems to me that the glass fronts and backs of these phones make them unnecessarily vulnerable to breakage (not just the LG, but nearly all modern cell phones). Will manufacturers do something to make their phones less breakable?
