Good value tent
Took this out for a 2 night camp in Snowdonia. Not the easiest tent for me to put up as I found it difficult to erect without the inner touching the outer in all areas which lead to issues with condensation. Quality tent.
You can certainly get better 1 person tents than this.. BUT it's good value for money. Snug inside, easy to set up, lightweight and doesn't look too bad either. If you're going for a long mountaineering expedition then pay more for higher quality. If you're the occasional camper while trekking or cycling then this is a decent option. Great Quality, at a really good value price.
I bought this for multi-day running events in the Scottish Highlands, so the name is very appropriate. I looked at a wide range of tents and this one seemed the appropriate mix of value and quality. I've had many Vango products and never been disappointed. The poles in particular are of very high quality, and it's unusual for a lightweight tent to come already equipped with alloy pegs. I haven't been out with it yet, but I have put it up on the lawn and it's really easy to put up. Even if you lost the instructions(which is impossible), you'd still figure it out. Great tent
Spent ages looking for a 1 man lightweight tent. After looking at the cheap and the £400+ I settled on this one. Have used it 3 times and am well pleased. Its not claustrophobic, more than long enough (I'm 5'11), quick to put up and has minimal guying. Not a massive vestibule but adequate. Quality is good. Great tent
Nice and lightweight with an oversized bag making it easy to put back into the pack etc when you’re in the middle of nowhere. It’s not huge for 2 people but comfy for 1. The poles are metal and seem pretty sturdy.
