Ok inside a shopping centre or airport
The reason it’s ‘lighter’ than others means it’s easier to get it out of the car BUT it’s harder work to push it. The wheels are smaller and you feel every bump in the pavement. Lightweight transport chair
I bought the chair for my mother who is 92 years old. It is primarily for going shopping. The chair is ideal for this purpose and runs well on the large shop floors. This is an excellent lightweight wheelchair that folds away perfectly into a lightweight bag for easy transportation and storage. Bought one of these for my 91 year old nan and she loves being mobile again. Excellent, well made and robust product. Many thanks. NB. Easy to fold away, reasonably lightweight but it can be wheeled when folded into bag.
Ideal for short journeys. Packs away easily into bag, which also has wheels so can be pulled along. Bought it to transport my elderly mother who has quite severe mobility problems and she said she found it quite comfortable. The only downside I can see is having to remove the footrests to fold it away to put it into the bag and the footrests only flip up and not away to allow the user to get into the chair, but these are just minor inconveniences.
