Poor performance
First of all,seller and service were excellent. Price was unbeatable. I chose Fiskars over other brands on sale because they seem to be gaining a reputation for quality tools, but I have to say I was disappointed with the performance of these grass trimmers. They struggled to cut lawn grass which my old -no brand name- trimmers cut through with ease. The adjustment nut was screwed down hard so I couldn’t tighten the cutting blades to make them work better, sharpening produced no better results either. I’m going to put this down to experience and try to find out who produced the old pair of trimmers which are still working so well and buy another pair.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The trimmer arrived before due date and was well packed. The build quality is good and it seems very strong. I have had cheaper trimmers which last only a season before needing replacing. This one, because of its quality I feel sure will last a few seasons if it is looked after. I have tried them already and am very pleased with them. have had several other makes of hand shears, from the good to not so good, but these seem to be the best yet. However, time will tell as I have only used them for a short while.
