other pedals simulate Feedback - this is the real deal
You know what it does but recommendations to use as the first in the chain are just that - it's also great to use at the end of the chain into the amp which can produce subtler feedback by careful setting of gain and onset which allows the increased volume of the guitar attack to create feedback and losing feedback by lessening the attack (quiet attack no feedback - louder attack introduces feedback) which can be more natural sounding than using momentary and the footswitch.
