Very good replacement.
I bought this oven to replace another brand that I had had for about 7 years. The new one is far superior in a number of ways. It is lighter and easier to move and to dismantle for washing, it has dials that are easier to understand and set, there are more cooking methods and ways of using this oven, numbers on the temperature and timing dials seem more permanent (they rubbed of very early on my original oven leaving everything to guess work) etc. One thing that irritates is the top isn't as easy to fit on the extension ring and takes a bit of jiggling around but it is something I am sure I will get used to after a few weeks of use. One thing I would have like to see is a more extensive explanation of each cooking method with recipe examples, but this doesn't detract from an oven that I am very happy with.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Daewoo Deluxe Halogen Oven
At first glance this looks like a great buy as I did when purchasing it, but beware, don't let it's good looks deceive you! This is a very cheaply made oven that has ceased functioning after just 5 months of use, the fan is still working but no heat being produced, I know that the bulbs don't last forever but I expected it to last longer than 5 months. Also under the lid it has gone very rusty also, not very hygenic and probably from cheap parts being used, definitely no stainless steel here! It has not put me off using halogen ovens as I find them very useful and economical to run, in future no more cheap brands. So I would suggest you don't purchase this brand and look elsewhere.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It's exactly the same item I have had several times before but with a different name!!!!! There must be a company somewhere that makes this item and puts a different brand name on them!! It does the job for my non Daewoo 17L Halogen Oven
Well I recently partially melted the white stand for my Maplin Electronics 17L Halogen Oven by forgetting the oven hob was hot and placed it on it. It meant it did not sit level any more so it was not very practical/safe to cook with it. The Halogen Oven was old (bought back in April 2018) and no longer sold. I saw this 17L stand for a Daewoo model and gave it a go. Excellent quality and it fitted the 17L glass bowl with no problems at all. I prefer the black colour to my old white one anyway. really impressed
Only used it 4 times so far, but must say very impressed and i will also be taking it to France with my caravan, French camp sites electric hook ups are often lower amps to ours but this is such low wattage it will be fine therefore saving on gas, so far cooked frozen chips, pork chops and steak all cooked great and finished golden brown, ive just ordered a halogen oven recipe book ( practice makes perfect lol ).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

As with most things,the oven unit itself apart from the branding and colour,is identical to a Voche unit I bought some time ago.There is however two baskets,as opposed to one with the Voche,and the accessories seem slightly better quality.Bought to replace an air fryer that the non stick coating was breaking up ,which seems a common issue with all airfields ,with the resulting reported health issues it can cause,which may account for the resurgence of halogen ovens.Very pleased with it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Outstanding performance and versatility!
Very easy to use and cooks everything well. The additional extender ring is very useful to increase space if needed. The controls are simple and easy. The cooker heats up much quicker than a normal oven. The baskets and racks supplied are very useful and cater for most tasks. Cleaning is easy. Energy/space/materials conscious cooking
I bought my first halogen oven 7 years ago, when short of money, after my conventional cooker broke down, one of these was the economic alternative. I was living alone then, and now with my partner... But I haven't gone back, there has been no need to revert to a conventional cooker, one of these is all we need. Admittedly, I use it alongside other small, energy saving devices, but this halogen oven is compact, easy to use and to clean, and for the price is a fraction of the cost of a bulky, difficult to clean, electricity/gas consuming cooker. And it fits neatly away in a cupboard... Alongside an air fryer and slow cooker. All I have on my work surface is a 2 ring electric hob, and a microwave. The halogen cooker IS a different way of cooking, but once used to it, it roasts beautifully, bakes fantastically, and uses a fraction of the energy to do it. The extention ring that comes with it allows extra depth when cooking, and is really useful, as are the trays, wire racks etc that come with it. My last halogen oven lasted me 7 years. It's a simply constructed device, but THIS one is so much better made, and I'm sure it will last a lot longer. And I shall get another when this one finally gives up.
