Required for the connectivity you’d expect
It’s frustrating that you have to buy a specific, and expensive, cable to get the functionality you’d expect - especially considering the vehicle has a USB port! However the cable is of good quality and does give the connectivity you’d expect. I wouldn’t risk the 3rd party ones, as it’s not just as simple as a splitter, the cable has a chip in it - of course it does! *rolls eyes*.
