Very challenging to install, but wow! Makes all the difference if needed
I was struggling to change gears and I could rarely put the bike in to neutral once stationary without switching off the engine. It was very difficult to change this on my bike because it meant removing most of the fairings and the exhaust just to get to the clutch cover, and it proved impossible to do things exactly to the book, and I found the EBC clutch tool useless, but I got there and it has made all the difference to my bike. I can now change gears smoothly and even change in to neutral before switching off and at lights :-)
By the way I was concerned about the springs being stronger than the original ones because I get aching hands in the cold weather, but the clutch is not noticeably harder to operate. Also I use my bike for commuting not street racing or anything and I find the clutch perfect :-)
Complete kit only extra I would recommend is a new clutch hub nut which has to be peined to the gearbox shaft the original nut with locktight could be reused.
The kit came with 5 springs but only 4 are used
Although the clutch is race fast road it’s still quite light with plenty of feel not a hint of any snatch when pulling away
I’ve only covered a few miles with it so far but very pleased with the performance
