! quite mediocre !
while the 1980 'hammer complete collection' from 1980 is excellent; this later addition from 1984 is a complete flop - the episodes are totally flat - without the billed 'mystery and suspense'; while the 1980 edition is very popular, the later 1984 edition is hardly known; very surprisingly, the 1980 version costs around £10; while the 1984 edition sells for £25. as I immensely enjoyed the 1980 edition, I ordered the 1984 edition in expectation of similar enjoyment - but was very sadly disappointed !
