Reasonably priced dyson unit!
We were really happy to have found a powerful dyson hand held cordless unit that didn't cost the earth. It's powerful and so much better than the £25 Vax dust buster style we used to have for doing stairs and dealing with spills and smaller hoovering jobs. Only downside is the battery life but that's the same for all powerful cordless models unless you spend 100's of pounds so overall very happy.
