Nearly a World Beater
One of the best Panasonic PVR's., great picture quality on standard and HD freeview, well designed and easy-to-use menu,much improved EPG , easy to set up recordings or copy from the hard disc to DVD and plenty of memory even with HD recordings. A very well designed, reliable and robust device obtained at a great price and useful for USB playback as well.A bit limited for internet/media player but this is not a major issue here.So a real pleasure to operate this recorder. Why Panasonic did not enable this machine to playback Blue-ray discs I don't know! If they had this would have been a real world -beater...pity. Still, really excellent overall.

Compact unit from Panasonic but not up to their normal high quality standards.
It works OK but setting the timer is a bit tricky/ Also this model seems to take a while to settle down when you first turn it on, the picture flashes on and off for a minute or so. I had already returned one example to another supplier as I thought that this was the precursor of a fault developing.
