Sound loud enough, connector should be longer for easy use with any device.
Sound is good but I could not rate a five since the connector wire is a little to short. It would be good if you use the pocket for your device but I'm using it with an old hard plastic walk man that I don't want in bed with me so I keep it clipped to the bed frame and there isn't enough slack in it to comfortably place it under my pillow.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wanted the speaker for late night TV. Plugged into the back of the TV with the plug attached. No (very very little volume) sound. Tried to adjust volume on speaker control (no help)! No more counting sheep!
This is the most amazing item!!! I usually put a cd on with relaxing music or ocean sounds, slip this under my pillow, and the next thing I know I'm waking up the next day! Its slim design is barely noticeable under my pillow. Another great thing about it is that it has a volume control; some of them don't! I don't disturb my hubby, because he can't hear it, only me! Very Poor Sound
I found this hopeless. Too quiet to put under pillow and too uncomfortable to put in pillow case. Only decent sound through my ipad but not under pillow. Very tinny sound. Make sure whatever you connect it too has a decent sound output through the earphone socket. Good item for the money
I have used three or four of these as I have tinnitus. Works good, but after some time the outer cover starts to peel off. A little super glue takes care of it. Also, had the wires break on one side of the set on two of them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works as advertised
Does what it claims, you can hear it but not feel it under your pillow. Not the most awesome speakers obviously but you want soft music, right? Works great for that.
