Customer review for Choward's violet mints
I just want to say these are the best months I've had in 24 years that was the last time I was in New York. I was not able to find them until I got a smartphone and I finally went on to eBay and just did a simple question and remember the spelling. So I went ahead and look through the variety of different companies that still carry this wonderful candy from when I was a child it brings back nostalgia. The the first time I had one of these men's was a month ago when my brother came to visit need for the Christmas holiday and he brought me a package of them from South Carolina and he spent a lot of money on one package I was able to get 24 packs in one box for $22 which is a wonderful price compared to buying them singly and where I live in Florida you cannot purchase these anymore. I don't think you can get them anywhere unless you go to a candy store and a big city like where my brother lives in South Carolina. I recently rediscovered how much I love volet mints . This was my favourite mint candy growing up and it has quickly resumed its place. Old Time Enjoyment
I am surprised that Violet mints are still around, I have loved them for 60 years! My aunt confided in me when I was in my teens that she carried Violet mints because it was the only candy she could carry that wasn’t devoured by her nieces and nephews daily. I was her only nephew that liked them! I invented a new cooling drink, I add one violet mint to one gallon of lemonade, it gives lemonade an incredible top note!
