Need to modify for arca-swiss mounts
The device works perfectly at leveling for tabletop photography. A temporary infirmity has prevented my usage for landscape as yet, but I anticipate no problem except it's weight It did not come with the Manfrotto base to attach to the camera, which I did not want. Instead it I modified it with an Arca-Swissquick release mount from Hajnar Photo, who makes mods for Manfrotto to Arca-Swiss. Manfrotto 405 head
I have used Manfrotto in the past, and know they are a reliable quality. The 405 head is super to use for anyone in photography and handles cameras in weight of 10-15 lbs. It has 3 axis knobs that each are a twist and adjust the camera til it is in the center bubble, then there is a fine tuner right in line with the 3 axis points.
