4th Gen iPad - Great Quality...Almost wouldn't know it was second hand (Not supported by iOS 11 though)
Great quality second hand 4th Gen iPad. Barely a mark on it, flawless screen and functionality and a brand new case included in the price. Only niggle is that the 4th Gen iPads can only run iOS 10.3.3 and will NOT RUN iOS 11. This means that the eBay and Netflix apps will not work on this device as they require a minimum of iOS 11. That was a bit gutting, but i should have done a bit more research I suppose, but everything else about this iPad is perfect, especially for the price. Light, thin, long battery life, good resolution camera and screen. Relatively idiot-proof once you're used to Ios. Half-price second hand - can't really complain. Can't imagine there's much better available elsewhere at this price-point (and that's from a someone very much in the PC camp rather than an Apple fanboy). Unless it breaks of course; n which case repair is madly and wildly overpriced ...... and therefore uneconomical. You would then merely have a useless slab of metal and glass (albeit a rather elegant slab of dead tech). Not a lot different from iPad 2
Upgraded to iPad 4th generation from 2nd generation and while the screen is noticeably better quality, most other things seem basically the same, so I was a little disappointed, though the plus is that safari doesn't keep re-loading web pages or telling me it can't find them. I use the tablet mostly for emailing, surfing the web and on-line shopping, which it handles fine as you would expect, but I don't find it noticeably faster, the battery doesn't seem to last quite as long and it most definitely takes longer to charge.
