Same as 3d gen; a little bit better?
We have owned two 3d Gen. Ipads for about 4 years and absolutely love them. With a keyboard, I can do almost anything. Filled up my 16 gig 3d gen and even with a larger cloud storage subscription, I still kept getting "storage full" messages. So in all honesty, I was looking for a good deal on a 3d gen for 64 gig and came across a nice 64 gig 4th gen. I can't tell hardly any differences except the camera is supposedly a little better? Something I have yet to verify as the pix seem to turn out the same. Some of the layouts are different when you are using Safari on the tool bar but it works the same. It also keeps track automatically of your most common sites. I just upgraded to the latest IOS which maybe was a mistake because I can't share things with the 3d gen. So now I need to clear off most apps from the 3d gen. to make room for the new IOS so the 2 can share before I sell it. Still a great tablet and nice to find a good deal on a gently used 4th gen - less than half the price of the newer ones.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Lightway with a few problems
We have had to order a second one as the first one refused to charge. The second on charges, but only using the computer, not the wall socket. It has everything on it that we require, plus a few extras and we like what we have purchased but have, as I said above, had a problem with charging. We contacted Apple and the help agent spent a lot of time and energy and discovered that the iPad seems to be working properly so had a question regarding the charger. In the last hour I have had it in the charge mode using the computer it has gained just 2%. I have no idea if this is good or bad but do know that our old original iPad could charge completely, using the wall socket in a couple of hours. Would I buy another one? I probably will and hope that I find the problem as I am assuming it could be something I am not doing correctly, although I have been assured by the gurus that I am doing what should be done...Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Great tablet
I was expecting it to be a little worse for wear considering it was it cost less than other iPad 4s I found online. But I was more than pleasantly surprised. It’s in perfect working order. I could sign in to my WiFi and to my Apple account perfectly. There was only one tiny scuff on the back of the tablet. Other than that it’s in pristine condition! I couldn’t believe it. I expected it to be a bit banged up for the price. The screen displays crisp pictures with good color definition. There has only been two apps that I have on my iPod touch and iPhone 6 that aren’t compatible with the iPad 4 so far. It grew on me
I never thought I wanted or needed a pad in addition to my laptop and smart phone. I purchased this specifically to run software for musical performances that only works on iPad. I have since found many uses for it. It has replaced my Macbook for routine things like reading the paper, displaying recipes in the kitchen, playing sudoku, etc. It is very handy. The battery life isn't long compared to my Macbook. Perhaps this is because I bought it used. Great iPad!
I was never an Apple person, but got this because I needed to use apps with my digital piano. It's super easy to learn to use, and really handy when I don't want to get on my computer. The battery life is quite good. With my casual use, I never use more than maybe 3% at any given time, and it uses very little in sleep mode. However, I usually turn it off if I'm not using it. I love my Ipad 4, I had been waiting for the longest to get the 4th generation Ipad at the price I wanted to pay. I knew if I had a little patience, the price would come down. I like the retina display and the 64Gb is all I need. I received the Ipad pretty quick with maybe a blemish or two but not real noticeable.
