The Weaver Classic T-Series 36x 40mm Rifle Scope is a competition-level, multicoated optics rifle scope that transmits up to 94 percent light and allows viewing in high contrast. The T in T-Series stands for tactical. The Weaver Classic T-Series is also suitable for long-range shooting and hunting. The Weaver Classic T-Series 36x 40mm t-36 scope has a 1-inch tube and features screw-on metal lens caps. The lens caps not only match the color and finish of the scope but also help protect the multicoated optics from debris and scratches. The lens coatings reduce glare and increase contrast and clarity of objects so that targets can be viewed easily regardless of sun angles, cloud cover, or reflections from snow or water. This piece of high-tech shooting gear lets a shooter zero in with a very fine 1/8 moa dot reticle. Weaver T-series scopes have Micro-Trac adjustment that provides accurate and completely independent windage and elevation control. The adjustment clicks are designed to have a positive feel and to be loud enough to hear each click even when wearing ear protection such as earplugs or shooting earmuffs. Users of the Weaver T-series scopes also have an adjustable objective at their fingertips to allow for fully parallax free shooting. This compensates for variations between the alignment of he shooter’s eye and the alignment of the rifle scope eye piece. The precise optics provide an objective diameter of 54mm and ocular diameter of 38mm. The adjustment click value is 1/8 minute of angle with an E/W adjustment range of 41.89 MOA. The eye relief is 3 inches. The front AO lens assemble is adjustable and includes three coin-edge-type circumference grip lines so that it can be easily adjusted even when wearing gloves. The AO assembly also includes a lock ring so that once the adjustment settings are correct, the assembly can be locked in place. This keeps rifle recoil from knocking fine-tuned adjustments out of place. In situations where even the slightest deviation can count against accuracy, this is a valuable option. The high-quality optics virtually eliminate edge-to-edge distortions and color or contrast loss at the scope edges. This prevents variations in the target image as the scope is moved from side to side or up and down. In other words, the flat, high-contrast image that appears in the scope remains constant even as the scope or rifle is moved around. The Weaver T-series 36x 40mm field of view at 100 yards is 3 feet at 36x. Other accessories include a 4-inch sunshade and oversized benchrest adjustment knobs. Like the included metal screw-on lens caps, the sunshade matches the color and finish of the rifle scope exterior. While the dot reticle version of this gear is made to make using the 1/8 minute adjustment click intuitive, the Weaver Classic T-Series t36 Rifle Scope reticle can be either a 1/8 MOA dot or a fine crosshair. The scope length is 15.1 inches, the weight is 16.7 ounces, and the Weaver T-series scopes are made in Japan.
