Sweet Sound!!!
I've been using my AIAIAI TMA-1 headphones since 2012 for my weekend DJ gigs. Over the past few months the headband and outer ear cups have gotten sticky, as if the plastic coating is degrading. I contacted AIAIAI and told me that they don't have any tested cleaning solution for this problem, and suggested I follow a plastic cleaning process found on the howtocleanstuff website at my own risk. After reading a review on the r/DJs subreddit, I decided to take a chance on the Sennheiser HD 25 headphones. I used to have Sennheisers back in the 90s and I'm glad I found my way back! I cannot believe how much better they sound than the TMA-1 headphones that I had gotten so used to. They sound crisp and full - WOW! The only thing that bothers me is that Sennheiser chose to put the single cable on the right ear. Every set of headphones I've ever used (and have gotten used to) have had the cable on the left ear. The Best for Pro DJ’s!
I’m a professional nightclub DJ. These are the go-to headphones for the majority of international headliners with whom I’ve played due to 1) great sound quality 2) very light, which is especially important for long sets 3) incredible durability 4) individual parts can be replaced (you don’t have to replace the entire pair, if something breaks) 5) swivel earpiece is very helpful for quickly and comfortably switching between sound in headphones to external sound during your sets. MY HD 25
They are tight out of the box but do seem to get more comfortable once you break them in. They will NOT fall off your head with this headband style outside or inside.
