The Ping Anser Hybrid balances the preferred features of golf irons and woods. It gives you all the performance you need on the golf course including on the fairway and in the rough. You'll be in possession of a true classic in golf club design when you pull off the Anser hybrid head cover. These clubs are positioned between Ping’s G series and I series hybrids like the I20. Ping first introduced this design in August 2012. It is available in both right-handed and left-handed designs.Most Anser utility golf clubs feature either the Ping TFC 800H or TFC 80H graphite shaft. Select the appropriate shaft flex: standard, stiff, or extra stiff. The head is crafted from tough 17-4 stainless steel. The anti-glare black finish and white face combine to make shot alignment simple. Take your stance, line up your shot, and swing with confidence.This is a finely crafted Ping hybrid that rewards smooth swings with repeated par and birdie opportunities. The technology that goes into the head design is quite sophisticated. Shots hit low on the face benefit from perimeter weighting in that area. Players will often find that the 17-degree version replaces certain woods and even a long iron or two.
