Samsung galaxy S111
Difficult to find anything bad about this "elderly" model. It came (second hand) loaded with the 4.4.4 version of Android software which is adequate for my use - just general communication and surfing. I loaded a battery management widjet (pro 75) and found that with modest use two days was easily achievable - but if simply left on standby to receive any calls (but none actually received) the battery easily achieved 5 days on standby. That seems incredible to me these days.. One criticism about the hardware is the positioning of the power on/off button. If you use the facility to use the buttons to accept and close calls then it is all too easy to accidently reject calls. I prefer to use this facility because it's very difficult to use the "swipe screen" method in bright daylight - you need to identify the green "incoming call" icon to do this. If you want a phone for everyday communication needs plus a few apps to help daily life then I would recommend this level of hardware/software, available at now a reasonable price. If you are one of the "set" who seem to have their nose constantly glued to the screen and fingers flying over the keys then you may be looking for a "brick" with a giant sized battery!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Battery life is awful
