The i7-2600 has a graphic clock speed of 850 MHz and speeds up to 1350 MHz when turbo is enabled. This model is also equipped with Intel InTru3D, which provides stereoscopic 3D Blu-ray playback in 1080p full resolution and premium audio via HDMI 1.4. Replacement of CPU
I wish I had taken the step of swapping and I 7 processor into my HP pavilion. The computer has been transformed by this change . I also added 4 GBS of RAM which is an easy upgrade. My computer is now as fast as I wanted to be. I particularly noticed a difference with my dragon voice recognition program. I can see why I 7 chips are in demand and would recommend anyone who isn't happy with the speed of the computer to consider this upgrade.
