I am not used to making coffee, so it took a while to read and understand the directions, the first 2 cups came out weak, my fault, back to the book. next 6 cups ooohhhs and ahhhs from company. the mild frother does an excellent job. we are very pleased with the appearance of the machine, doesn't take up that much counter space, I am sure after more practice and getting familiar with what buttons to push and when, we will have no problems being a barista.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good for the price and a good beginner machine.
Makes all the expresso drinks fine. What U would look at is a better retaining system of the pressure cup. This one is a little cumbersome with the manual catch. I have dropped the cup into the trash can while trying to get the coffee grounds out. The other complaint is the space under the portafilter. Can only put a shot glass under. Best Coffee Ever!
We have had this espresso machine in the past and it stopped working after several years. I was very happy that this model was still available. It is very easy to use and makes excellent espresso with lots of foam on top. Great espresso unit
I have had this unit now for 2 years and it has worked marvelously. I know there are many reviews that state this is a beginner unit, but I Disagree. The pressure may not be what the "big boys" use but with the right coffee and some spring water I can easily make as good or a better cup of coffee then I can purchase anywhere. Works great, consistent and easy to use.
Short learning curve. My third Espresso machine in 30 years. Small changes in grind, tamping and filling are what ultimately produces a lovely crema and a nice espresso. The wand is a bit cramped against the unit, but again, just tweak your process and it works great. I read someone complained about the dripping wand. I put a candle holder (or a jigger would work) on the right front corner, and no drips. It works great, it is consistent and easy to use. Nice looking. Compact. Fast-- less than 2 minutes to a hot latte. I use half the coffee I would normally use in a strong drip. The result is better coffee at half the cost. At my usual $10 for coffee beans a week, the machine will pay for itself in 7 months. If I were to be buying lattes once a day at $4/cup, it would pay for itself in a month and a half! Yes, you do need to buy a knock box, a good tamper, a grinder and maybe a stainless frothing pitcher-- so you are in another 50 bucks. Still, that works itself out easily. Do the math. Great machine. Great coffee.

Barrista quality
This one is perfect it’s got true powerful steam to froth the milk and the pump pressure puts real pressure thru the coffee and the crema is super.
