i like the idea, but you just cant get the flavor as with the cartridges. I haven't played around with diffrent coils but i might try to replicate

I like the idea, but I just can't get the flavor as with the cartridges(especially the 2.5‎Ω). I haven't played around with different coils yet but i might try to replicate the 2.5‎Ω chimney coil. I'm slowly slipping out of RBAs because i don't have the time to build. make no mistake i love and enjoy the building coils

    Hated it Waste of money

This product is very hard to rebuild and wick because of area issues. Wicking has to be 100% perfect to function properly otherwise dry hit city. Don't use it, haven't attempt to use it. Uwell really bombed on this. I would not recommend this product to mt worst enemy.

  • Crown RDA Is Worth The Money !!!

I "Was" Skeptical about the Crown RDA, Would it Have the same Great Taste as the Crown Atomizers. So I watched YouTube video's and got some good ideas. From Ebay I Purchased (28 Guage 316L Sergical Stainless Steel Wire) after it came in the work begins, I measured 16 inches of wire. (Note this wire is around 1/2 ohm per foot) And Also it is safe to use as a Vaporizer Coil. Now I lined up the ends and twisted about 1/4 inch and locked it in my Mini Hobbie Vice just snug enough to hold it tightly, then placed a small screw in the wall stile Key or Picture lupe in my Variable Speed Cordless Drill and locked it in. Then I placed the uncut end of the wire in it, with my fingers started from the vice holding both sides of the wire pulled it to the drill to center the wire in the loop. Set the drill for clockwise keeping just enough tension to keep it straight. Holding firmly speeding up till it was tightly twisted untill it brakes at the vice or on the loop, (it always brakes at the loop for me). I use a CW-25 winding tool and make 7.5 turns and when placing it on the RDA Make A "U" around the holding screws (Keep the CE-25 Tool in the coil) it keeps the coil loops holding their shape, you can now use the tool to get the perfect position on the coil. Using 15 watts I preheat and with ceramic tweezers pinch the coil for proper heat displacement to heat from the center outwardly. I then use a 1 inch long peace of Kanthal 1/4 inch wide rolling it into a round pace then twist it to thread it. Cut it to proper wicking length, with a sewing needle I feather it slightly take aid in wiching, put the top hood on aligning it then prejuicing the new wick and coil, mine ohms almost always 0.46 and Vaping it at 18 watts 2.88 volts. It tastes Great Every Time, My Juice is A 50/50 at 18 Nicotine. It pays for itself in no time. I'm Totally Recording this RDA to Everyone.

  • Love this RBA deck!!!

Ok this is the RBA deck for the Uwell Crown Sub Ohm tank. First of all the coil that comes on the deck...throw it away..it may as well have been a stripped and wound up bread tie...junk. The RBA deck itself is SOLID....not hard to build on at all. The space is kinda tight so it kind of limits your options as to the type of build you can pull off on this deck. The only issue I have found is this....when you wick your coil two things that stand true for almost any coil in almost any build are really amplified in this particular RBA deck due to the tight space and high temp it creates in this tight space. Issue one is what I refer to as packing....the amount of cotton you pack inside the coil itself...it can be VERY finicky a shade too much and you get burnt hits ...a shade too little and you get slow dripping of juice through the coil into the air chamber below and sooner or later out the air flow holes on the tank. Issue number two is what I call pancake or bow tie formation.....when you wick the coil the ends of the wick line up with the juice holes on the cap of the RBA deck...I pull a slight amount out the juice hole with my tweezers because I find that it helps stop leaking into the air chamber on the tank...now if you get a lil too much wick in the juice hole you will restrict the flow and get burnt hits again. Its a bit of a balancing act....however when you get it right this RBA is great, I bought it with my tank and I bought 4 manufactured Pre- built regular coils ....have never used anything but the RBA deck...love it!

  • Nice rba

No matter how I built it. It leaked, or cotton to tight. Juice holes are to small also. Still use it all the time. Good product, but would not buy another one.

  • RBA made vertical!

Thats right vertical! with just a pair of small needle nose pliers you can turn this RBA into a vertical coil RBA it has plenty of room and performs great.

  • Simple to rebuild!

Although I could rebuild the original style coils, it was often a hit or miss deal. These make rebuilding simple and the air flow is better. To avoid leaking, it's important to fold the cotton wick ends to one side, forming an S shape, to allow the feed slot to be completely covered by the cotton, then use a needle to slightly pull the cotton out to form a bulge in the slot so the wick doesn't shift.

  • Every King needs a Crown

The replacement pre made coils are awesome, but having the option to build my own on this tank is a money saver. Love the flavor l get from this tank even more. The deck is easy to build either horizontal or vertical coils. GREAT JOB UWELL !!!!!!

  • RBA

Because of its size its a pain to build on. Plus when its in use, the air float is very restricted, nothing at all like using the standard coils. I reverted to using a regular RDA where you can install single/dual coils and allows for much better flavor. With the purchase of the new RDA I'll never go back to using a tank that requires coils. In fact, I purchased another RDA for my second mod.
