Hopping Great Fun
My son got these for Christmas. It took him about 2 hours to get confident and learn balance. By night he was walking through the house with a nice bounce in his stride. By the next day he was running down the street. He said these are the best gift for a boy that loves to run, jump and be tall. The jumping stilts were perfect for a 7 yer old weighing 57 pounds, I can see these will be able to be used for a few more years. The stilts were of great quality and they were intuitive to put on. By the second day my son was able to put them on without adult assistance. They have just enough bounce to be exciting but not enough to be dangerous. The rubber grip on the bottom is very thick and ensures no slipping occurs but it provides the grip needed to get going. The stilts do make a slight squeak (not really that bad). We had to put a folded up sock against the upper clasp to provide cushion from the frame, other than that...absolutely no issues. I would definitely suggest getting this size for a 7-9 year old.
