Perfect Fit
This case is a perfect fit for my older Benelli SBE. On the surface it seems like a cheap case with a plastic lining, but it does the job well. I had a Winchester Model 23 Pigeon Grade stored in a deluxe lined hard case the past few years, and when I took it out to go hunting this past fall I found that it had a rust area forming on one of the barrels where it rested against the plush lining. I learned a hard lesson about storing shotguns in padded cases, so I really like this Benelli case with the hard plastic lining. After the waterfowl season, I thoroughly cleaned my SBE and stored it in this case with confidence that there is no soft lining to trap moisture and promote rusting. It is not an expensive case, but is perfect for the job of transportation and storage of a waterfowl gun. It is extremely streamlined, compact, and very well balanced with the gun inside. It also has two holes for locks and could, I believe, be used for airline transport. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because some of these cases have thin flimsy linings that are subject to wearing through after extensive use. I have seen two different linings in these same cases, and one is much better than the other. Perhaps they have improved the newer linings over the older ones, but I have seen both linings in recent purchases. I have purchased three of these cases now, as I wanted to give them as gifts for my friends with Benellis. They are perfect for the job at a nice price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
