Unhappy with this electric makita sheader
Purchased this item last year September 2015 before I went away on work for 10 months, came back august 2016 but didn't use tell november due to trees in the garden shedding their leaves, When coming to use this item for its perpose, found that it was not sheading , it just mangled these branches up and now wedged the collection container shut, now I cannot open it, so I tried to use the adjust wheel on the side with no difference.. so after hours of atemps, trying the adjustment wheel /reverse mode also different side branches to no avail, decided It was stressing me, and returned it to my garage where it will now live..

Excellent machine, not seen this design before
I’m very impressed. The bits that come out are a bit larger than I was expecting, but the pile was heating up after 2 days so I’m pretty sure it’ll compost fine. My mate reckons it’s better than the petrol one we hired for £90/day.

Effective machine
I have used to chop up a felled leylandii. It coped well. Occasional jams, as doesn’t like too much green. Also takes a while, don’t confuse this with the machines the professionals have. Amazing service, arrive 18 hours after I ordered!
