Works fantastically and easy to swap out
Had this in for 2 weeks so far and am really impressed. Came with the tools to fit it. I found a video on Youtube to help, but it's simple to swap out. My 7 year old battery would only last a couple of hours and would often crash while showing 20-30% left. Great fix, good battery
Seems to be working well enough so far. It was easy to install taking around 10 minutes. Its worth following some advice on how to train your battery - something not mentioned by Apple. Price was £59 and included the specialist screwdrivers needed to get in the case and remove the existing battery. Apple wanted to charge me £168 and to have my MAC for 3-5 days. This followed a series of calls to get a physical appointment in the store then to be told that I needed to make an appointment to drop it off. Useless service from Apple. Great battery, Great price!
My battery has 95% capacity and it's made my Macbook feel like it's new again, I can rely on this battery throughout the day. I have not had it for too long, I'm still on the first few cycles however it all checks out, I'll edit my review if I have any problems with it. Buying a battery for older electronics is quite annoying and having to replace a cheap battery after a few weeks is very annoying.
