Does the job but time will tell
I used these after spending almost a day extracting a concreted post in a tight position near trees. I had two other cracked posts that were more difficult still so decided to try Post-Buddy. They were not cheap but seemed fair value on arrival. Good steel which was well painted and seem likely to outlast the posts. The bashing in with a lump hammer was easier than expected. Both posts are much firmer, with two supports on the west and north sides i.e at 90 degrees to each other. It took an hour. One is rock solid and the other is much firmer with a very small movement. If they last 5 years I will consider it an excellent deal but the signs are good. Service was first class - arrived about 48 hours from order. Well packed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Could be better.
I'm a very experienced professional handyman so my review is from that point of view. Only use these if you are desperate. You will find that the post will wobble quite a lot. easy to use

These are great. I wasn't looking forward to replacing two fence posts rotted at their bases. The Post Buddy was easy to install - just use a big enough hammer - and restored rigidity to the fence. In all the job took maybe 3 hours. I painted the Buddys to match the fence and you can barely see them now. It's worth watching the video on Youtube before you do the job, though. Works well
Strengthened very wobbly fence, but I need more stakes to finish job, which I will do soon. The top holes for initial horizontal adjustment are cut the wrong way in my opinion. They only permit vertical adjustment, which is not what the video implies and is also mpossible once the stake is fully driven in. great as long as wooden posts are deep enough in ground
It worked well on 2 posts but not others which were cemented in too shallow when installed leaving little rotten underground post wood to hit them into so my fault for not checking. Could do with a much longer version to go deep into soil at side of cemented area to give more support to shallow posts, I will order more for posts I know have wood going deeper into soil so will support before they break.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This product is good quality and compared with all the hassle of replacing a post in a vertical board and arris rail fence is fairly good value, however, to work as intended remember the broken post will still need to be good and solid below ground level. Mine unfortunately had apparently rotted way further down than I thought so were soft in the ground and therefore giving the post buddies very little to grip against. For posts that have just gone at ground level and the section in the ground is still solid I would say these would do a good job.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Post buddy is the best mate a damaged fence needs.

Excellent quick fix!
Items are supplied well packaged and are of good quality with thick paint and a heavy gauge metal Installation couldn't be easier simply set the edge to the offending fence post and drive the stake into the ground up to the limit stamped on the stake - if it won't go in this far don't worry just hammer in until it feels stable install second stake at 90 degrees to the first one Fit appropriate length screws through the pre drilled holes and voila one repaired fence post brilliant!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
