Reasonably priced home camera
It is a reasonably priced home camera that provides good quality live feed to watch over you dog(s). If you want to record, you will have to purchase a micro SD card ( I got a 32GB for around £12.00). There is a microphone which allows you to talk to your pets. My only gripe is that the camera doesn't seem to be accessible outside of the home, as it uses the camera as a network within the boundary of the house. I thought I would be able to access the camera outside the house and speak to my dogs to reassure them and make sure they weren't up to no good whilst I'm out. Poor
I didn’t do much research and went with my sisters recommendation of this product. I ordered 3 clever dogs and they arrived super fast, which was great. I then realised they all need to be plugged in to a usb socket (which I don’t happen to have near where I want the cameras and I’ve therefore had to use all the usb plugs in the house and find plug sockets. Again, the plug sockets aren’t near where I want the cameras and the cable isn’t long enough to reach. Once I set the system up (which was quite straight forward) my WiFi suddenly became extremely slow. We went away on holiday for a week and I know my father in law came to the house every day, and I didn’t get a single notification, however I did get them when nobody was in there. Not really pleased with this system and wish I’d just bought 1 first to test and realise it wasn’t what I wanted. Also, getting a notification is a simple message which is easily missed if busy at work. Ideally I’d like more of an alarm. Clever Dog barks
Got this because a friend and neighbor has 2 they work ok, so i decided to try one i now have 2 it is great for when i am away clear images and video it is easy to install and set up with free app on your phone. I would not hesitate to recommend these Clever dogs to others and at this price a good deal and you can rest assured your home is covered by CCTV this is a cheaper option to 200/300 pound plus cctv units. i found nothing to complain about with the camera night shots are great, 32gb micro sd card hols enough video and it can be fitted in numerous positions around the room. It could also double as a baby monitor and it also boasts the talk to and receive set up so if you hear baby cry you can talk and sooth them from the other part of the house without rushing up stairs ..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Actually it’s quite good
For £20 odd it’s a great buy. Doesn’t wives or zoom, but then what do you expect for that price! It was easy easy to set up, no faffing about. Has night vision too, and sends movement notifications. Also 2 way audio.. do miss swivel and pinch zoom as the kitchen is quite big so difficult to make out what he’s doing (dog) but then I may get another for that! Brilliant bit of kit
I have 3 set up in the house. These are great value for money. Easy to set up. The picture quality is very good and within a couple of seconds of the motion detector going of I get a message with 3 picture showing who I'd in the room. You can change the settings and switch them on and off from anywhere in the world as long as you have Internet connection. I will be purchasing another one for my office. Great little unit
Was a little difficult to set up initially, probably due to linking with a android phone, but appears to be linking fine, now i'v got the hang of it. I am yet to try accessing the unit away from home, so fingers crossed all will work well. Love the barking dog feature!!! good clear pictures day and night. Very impressive video well worth the money... I liked it so much I bought another one!!
First of all dont expect this camera to replace your security system that said if you looking for cheap and effective way to monitor an area, take snapshots or video and get alerts to your phone you wont go far wrong with this. This things got the following features : Motion detection - You can adjust the sensitivity on the app its bit hit miss when it comes to alertiing you straightaway but it did manage to take snapshots and record video when motion is detected. Two way communication - I never really used this feature but it did check it out. The quality of sound isnt brilliant but it does it work as stated over wifi although I havent tried it away from home. Records video to MicroSD - You will need a an MicroSD card I used 16GB which has more than enough space for my needs. You can watch any recorded video on your phone or download it to PC using Clever Dogs windows version of the app. P2P - Aslong youve got the app on your device then you can pretty much check the camera anywhere in the world. How reliably it is depends on your connection and of course the network youre on. Personally I havent had much trouble but did have few instances when connection failed using my mobiles data connection however when I tried again it manage to connect. Night vision - Works well if you dont have anything in the way like a window as infra red light is reflected back to camera screwing up the image. Not the cameras fault as it wasnt meant to be used in this way but I thought I'll mention it. PROS Cheap, very good video quality, packed with features, and able to connect from anywhere in the world with an internet or data connection. CONS You have to buy your own USB adaptor charger and MicroSD card. This is only minor complaint I already had these things lying around so no big deal especially considering the cost of camera. Uses a standard 5V USB adaptor typically used to charge mobile phones and I took the MicroSD from my old mobile phone. BOTTOM LINE : I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Amazing!
For such a good price this is an amazing little camera. It allows you to speak and listen to your home when you're not there, and will even send you notifications (with screenshots included) when it detects a human in the room. If this was an intruder, it would be invaluable evidence to give to the police. I use the camera to monitor my birds when I'm not home, and the camera is able to distinguish between pets and people as I never get notifications when it's just the birds moving around. Excellent value for money
I was a bit dubious about buying a cheap camera but have been very pleased. Was very easy to set up and can access on my iPhone and iPad. Good picture quality although when you zoom its gets pixelated. Full 180 deg view too. Does exactly what it says on the tin, well impressed with how good the night vision is and love how it notifies you and takes still pictures when there's movement. I bought mainly as a home security camera and managed to get it pointing at both front and back doors from the kitchen ceiling ( you can flip the image upside down in the app ). It can be a bit on and off if you're watching away from home even with 4g ..it works but buffers a little bit sometimes. The voice comes out cleat as well if you use the microphone but I quickly realised this confused the pooch so won't be using that again..all in all for the money I think it's great..going to buy another two so I can see the dog eating my socks upstairs 😅 would defo recommend.
