Great for replacement
There are many variations and other brands suitable for venting. This model has a timer. I got this one solely because it was ceiling mounted and the original screw positions there of course. I’ve noticed that other Vent Axia products have a smaller footprint and albeit lower cost, you then end up making good the old holes and drilling some new ones. That’s a lot of hassle and filler then touching up with paint. So very time consuming. This model isn’t cheap but one for one replacement ideal. So in summary… there are cheaper models for new installations but for replacing existing then great. This model of course has a timer and that’s brilliant for toilet/bathroom use to expel the air and then switch off automatically.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good product difficult to fit as replacement into existing Vent axia wall tube.
Fan motor Wire is on the outside of the exit / fan tube this causes some major difficulty when fitting into an existing vent axia 100mm wall tube, Vent Axia previous models had the fan motor wire on the inside of the exit / fan tube. This replacement of existing with same model - Same fault -electronic timer / fan control failed after 2 years - not bad used every day!.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good as a new timer fan, may not be suitable as an identical replacement.
Bought this as a replacement for a fan with exactly the same model number. For some strange reason the timer electronics has moved around the fan thus making it extremely difficult to connect to the existing house wiring. Otherwise, a well made, quite fan for a bathroom. Quite a bit more expensive than other fans with a similar specification but the previous one lasted 20+ years, considerably longer than some other fans I have had. If I had remembered to remove the fluff from the old one it may still have been running well - its twin in the other bathroom had less fluff and is still going strong (having cleaned it before it stalled).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
