Nice alternative to an oil pressure switch
Not installed yet but it looks quality. I already have a tee at my oil pressure sender for a Paxton supercharger so I was not wanting an oil pressure switch also. This mechanism is genius! Great swap over from mechanical
Sorry it took so long to review. Was waiting for headers to install first. Installed on '76 F100 with 351 Cleveland. Works GREAT!! Hooked intermittent 12 volt source to gas fuse on panel. Turn on key, pump fills bowls and she starts and runs like a champ. When the key is turned off, the pump is off as well. Came on time, as described and I can feel safe when running the vehicle. Works just as advertised
I installed this on a Bosch L-Jet vehicle that has been converted to a Gotech MFI system. I had an issue with the fuel pressure not building prior to starting the car, this fixed the issue. Easy install since I had previously had the pump controlled by the ecu. Even with a leaking injector, this primes the pump up to full pressure in less than a second, I only hear the pump for a moment when I switch the key on, and that takes me from 0 psi to about 32 psi that my system runs on. Great Product Must Have
This is a must have for safe electric fuel pump operation. We originally used an oil pressure switch to turn off the fuel pump if the engine lost oil pressure. Just What I Needed
I was looking for something that would allow the pump to prime but did not want it to run any time the key was switched on without engine running. This would overload the floats on the carburetor.
