Golf Buddy Platinum was very accurate. Have used 1 time so far and have not had time to work with all features. Only issue I had was touchscreen. Maybe using a few times more I'll get better with it. Unreliable on start-up location and too slow in doing so.
It takes too long to recognize my location and when it finds the correct course it does not recognize my true location. It may state that I am playing hole three when I am standing on hole one tee box. Golf Buddy Platinum refurb
Upgraded from the Golf Buddy Pro, older unit that had a toggle switch which finally wore out. Really like Golf Buddy products, and this is a nice upgrade, showing the entire hole layout and no more toggle...all touch screen, which also allows you to get yardage to spots on the course. Great unit
This is the third golf buddy I have owned. It is exactly the same as the previous unit except that it is black and the previous one was white. I got this because the white was no longer responding to touch on the screen. I have seen a lot of others used by different people, this is superior. If golf buddy still supported the white one I would have had it repaired. there is only one problem I have with the unit. I cannot load one course that I often play on the unit. I have been trying to get in touch with golf buddy to help me but have been unsuccessful. I have downloaded the course from the golf buddy library to my course manager but It will not up load to the unit. In all other aspects the unit is great but up loading a course from their library is difficult to impossible.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Golf Buddy Platinum
I have an 8yo Golf Buddy Platinum and love it. When the touch screen stopped working I could still use it in its basic form but missed the added features. I looked for a replacement but they don't make them anymore and no others come close to them. So when I saw these refurbished ones, I jumped at the opportunity to get another one.
