Timeless Classic !!
Built like a tank. Video amazing out of the box. I little hard to pick up changing settings at first as lcd isn’t a touch screen but using dials to navigate settings soon becomes second nature.

Purchased for my sister.
The latest reports from the recipient are that the 5D Mark II is so much easier than the Mark I for someone who wears glasses. The live rear LCD view makes a world of difference. The 5D Mark I has a 'filmic' tone and in fact has a even a cinematic look (which might not be achievable in Lightroom. The 5D Mark II has a clear sharp tone, which is better in some situations. For this reason one is not better than the other and if you are upgrading it is better to hold on to the Mark I if you can.

Oldie but goodie
Of course a few tech limitations but as a second body full-frame in complement to a more modern aps-c, this expands your possibilities tremendously. It is actually cheaper than buying a good wide angle for your aps-c so to increase your field of view it's a no brainer.
