Great value static model
Fantastic value large scale model. I believe the kit was originally intended as a remote control kit and hence has no interior detail but as a large scale static display model it is fantastic. Decent kit, just needs work.
This kit is was originally introduced as an RC kit and because of that it has some quirks and compromises incorporated. There is no interior detail whatsoever and there are many areas that need work in order to get a good looking Tiger 1. Modifications and scratch building will be required as well as the addition of available aftermarket detail and replacement parts. A novice will be able to build this straight out of the box and end up with an impressive large scale Tiger but the more experienced and discerning modeler will want to do as much work as possible to accurize and detail the model. All in all it is still a decent kit and costs at least 1/5 the price of a Tamiya Tiger 1 so if you are on a budget and want to have a large scale Tiger in your collection, this is the one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
