Exactly as advertised
The advert for these strings say that they can help with intonation. I fitted them to a cheap Vintage made concert uke fitted with black strings, and the difference is amazing. This uke was out of tune from day one but is now ( to my ear ) perfect. I also bought a set for my soprano uke but noticed the bridge was tipping and top top was bowing in, (left stored during lock down on my damp cabin cruiser) so I did not fit them. I will definitely hold onto them for when I get a new soprano uke, and replace the strings if the uke is not in good tune. Definitely recommend them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Disappointing
Not sure why, but they weren't that good. I ended up putting the crappy nylon ones that came with the uke, (Just twenty eight quids worth of plastic for out door gigs!). ill keep these as they will be ok for emergency replacement, but that's about all.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My favourite ukelele strings
I like these Ukelele strings! I have heard so many different opinions of different strings and have tried others, but always come back to these! I find they have a lovely mellow tone, which is what I want from my Ukelele. They are moderately priced encouraging me to change them as often as I should.
